Coulter Wines

Chris Coulter has a day job making wines for one of the big guys in South Australia but by night he works on his own project which is predominately based in the Adelaide Hills and centres around Chardonnay, Pinot, Sangiovese and Barbera. Coulter is all about preserving fruit purity and his wines really demonstrate a steady hand, his Barbera has been the best example I have seen from Oz, his Sang is up there as well. His Chardonnay delivers a beautiful line of fruit that is complimented by a deft touch from the winemaker. His Star is definitely on the rise. ROSCOE
