Corzano e Paterno

Corzano e Paterno is a 100-plus hectare property that lies roughly half-way between Florence and Siena in the Tuscan hills at San Casciano Val di Pesa; just outside the 'Classico' zone. Purchased by Swiss architect Wendel Gelpke in 1969 (the first time the property had changed hands in 700-years) the estate has been a labour of love specialising in wine, olive oil and pecorino cheese production.

The wines are made utilising modern techniques including the judciious use French oak maturation but they maintain fresheness and an undeniable sense of their unique terroir.
