Andre Clouet is a pinot noir house with access to plots of the best sun-kissed slopes of Bouzy and Ambonnay, both Grand Cru villages in Montagne de Reims. The Clouet family have worked in the area since 1751, along the way acquiring prized plots of the region.
Its frontman, Jean Francois is flamboyant and energetic. He works a million miles a minute, he's an ideas man who follows through. Like Jean-Francois, these Champagne are loaded with charm and personality.
Wine critic Tyson Stelzer has placed Clouet amongst the top 6 growers of Champagne, '…this of course places him among the top sparkling growers on earth. My scores rank him equal to Dom Pérignon, Louis Roederer and Taittinger. And that's mighty company!'
