Catia D’Anna says “Sourced from Upper Yarra, first set of wine from my own label. Good fruit, easy winemaking.” I like that she’s economical with words like her Dad. Well, at least on wine labels.
Red cherry, raspberry, rosehip, a little spice, liquorice root – lovely perfume. It’s light to medium-bodied, crisp, all bright red fruit, a bit of a ‘mineral’ thing here, fine grip to pumice stone tannin, and excellent length of flavour. Fine and brightly lit.
