Brian and Kevyn Joy have planted 23ha of shiraz, 5ha of cabernet sauvignon and 1ha split between malbec, cabernet franc and petit verdot on the slopes of the Warrenmang Valley near Moonambel. Yield is restricted to between 3.7 and 6.1 tonnes per hectare. JAMES HALLIDAY
