Bodegas Javier Sanz
Bodegas Javier Sanz is located in La Seca, in the province of Valladolid
within the white wine only Rueda D.O. The winery is a family owned operation
based on an estate that has a grape-growing tradition that stems back to the
early 1900s.
In total the Bodega owns 104 ha of vineyard, situated on gentle gravely slopes that allow for good drainage and air circulation. Of the 104 ha, 54 ha are planted to Verdejo which have an average age of 40 years. Grapes are harvested when the winemaker believes they have reached maturity and balance.
