Benoit Ente

Benoit Ente, brother of Arnaud (see above), also describes 2013 as an "extremely difficult vintage from a growing season perspective, in fact it was every bit as challenging as 2012. Additionally we again suffered a poor flowering though at least we didn't have any trouble with hail. I really wasn't sure how the wines were going to turn out because before the malos finished they were very difficult to judge. In fact even now they are a bit strict and thus in my view they're going to need at least 2 to 3 years of bottle age before they really display their full potential. However I for one am extremely optimistic about the ultimate quality and I'm convinced that they will surpass the 2012s in the end." BURGHOUND
