We’re thrilled to shine a light on one of Italy’s most remarkable and soulful producers — ARPEPE, the Pelizzatti Perego family estate in the alpine heart of Valtellina. Few wineries anywhere balance tradition, patience, and place with such quiet confidence and precision. We love these wines!

The family’s terraced vineyards are among the most dramatic in all of Italy, where the sheer, hand-built slopes rise high above the valley floor, so steep that each vine must be tended by hand. Here, in these dizzying altitudes, the local variant of Nebbiolo, known as Chiavennasca, grows in the decomposed granite and slate soils where it expresses itself with a unique alpine personality: perfumed and poised, with mineral tension, fine tannins, and an unmistakable sense of purity.

This masterclass features one of the most complete looks at the range of wines from ARPEPE, from its Rosso di Valtellina to the profound Sassella Riserva and Grumello bottlings.

Guiding us through the line-up will be Isabella-Pelizzatti-Perego, 5th generation at the estate. It's a real honour to have someone from the family here to host this very special evening. We will be serving charcuterie and cheese with the wines.
