Abellio

Rectoral do Umia is one of a handful of wineries in Galicia in North West Spain under the ownership of Family Wine Group Vinos y Bodegas Gallegas. The state of the art Rectoral do Umia winery, where Abellio Albariño is made, is located in the Salnes Valley and was built in 2009. The vineyards are located on some of the best sites of Rias Baixas in the sub-regions of Salnes, Condado and Ulla. The fruit is sourced from vineyards of average age 7-20 years, which are trained guyot (30%) and high pergola system (70%). The soils are 50% granitic with equal proportions of clay and sand. ABELLIO
