It’s delicious! A gentle feast, but one with lots to put on the plate. Cherry, cranberry, rose hip tea, a strawberry sweetness in a dry, ostensibly savoury style. This comes from the most recent importation of new clones and varieties to Australia via the Chalmers family who have been championing Italian varietals for decades now. Falanghina refers to two distinct grape varieties in Italy, both grown in Campania primarily this wine is made from the Chalmers imported clone of Falanghina Beneventana, a more minerally inflecked and vibrant version  - we love it!

A blend of Harriet's Vineyard, Healesville, Boat O'Craigo Vineyard, Healesville, Nenagh Park, Willowlake Vineyard, Gladysdale.

Lovely aromatic lift and intensity here with a rainbow of red fruits; cherry, black and red raspberries, currants and wild strawberries. Open and easy-going palate that belies the subtle complexity but makes it such a joy. Long slippery palate with sweet red fruits and strawberry coulis on the finish sprinkled with fresh spice and a light peppery note. It's tougher and tougher to find pinot of this level at this price and last years was a hit too so, well done to the crew at Rob Hall for knocking another gem out.

The family vineyards provide the backbone of the label, though Jason Schwarz's relationships with talented growers are paramount to an enviable cache of old-vine fruit sources. Touch the fruit lightly, don't pick too late, keep oak use in check - the house style here is pure, vibrant and we love it!

Another little ripper from Schwarz & Co. here and you know that we are a bit partial to chenin here at Prince. Green apple, quince, white tree fruits, and touch of quartzy, salty spice emanate from the glass. This is summer in a bottle with a breezy, airy disposition and wonderful fresh cut. It's all about purity of fruit which zips along a long and zesty palate, almost too easy to drink with a lovely saline line that runs through from start to finish.
